My Story

I have been developing mods since mid-August, and it has replaced almost every other hobby. I fell into the classic trap: spending more time modding than actually playing the game.

I usually spend 2 to 10 hours each day coding, testing, fixing, documenting, and discussing changes. I rarely take a real break, though I estimate about two weeks of total hiatus so far.

I started modding for my own server, then got pulled further in and started porting and expanding projects. I do this for fun, and so far I am loving it. But every hobby has limits, and eventually the fun can fade when the overhead grows too heavy.

That is the reason behind this page. Contributions do not directly buy more fun, but they do remove some friction. First goal: take my family on a well-deserved holiday.

So... Why Donate?

Well, I think we can all say that the above already makes it quite obvious. But as mentioned prior, I do this for fun. So I'm happy with the output of this new hobby.

However, I don't think it's as fun for my family as it is for me. So what I am going to do with your donations is nothing less than taking my family to their dream holiday destination.
