Recolouring
Sketchbook stores the original source image for new sketches. That source lets the mod re-render a sketch when you choose colours later.
Details
- Graphite sketches use the regular Pencil.
- Coloured pencils unlock options in the
Coloursubmenu. Alltoggles every coloured pencil currently available to the player.- Individual colours can be toggled one by one.
- The preview updates immediately while the menu is open.
- The colour change is sent to the server when the menu closes.
Technical detail
Recolouring is stored as a colour mask on the sketch reference. The server normalizes the requested mask and intersects it with the player's available coloured pencils before saving the recoloured result.
